Major League Baseball 2015 World Series Championship Futures Odds Update

Major League Baseball 2015 World Series Championship Futures Odds Update
Similar to an investment savings account – pro sports Championship futures wagering can be a lucrative venture. With Major League Baseball now down to their Elite Eight, the prices to win the World Series have changed drastically since they first posted back in March. Although the very poor showing of the Washington Nationals has been disappointing, our Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays selections are still alive and well. Let’s look at the current odds to determine if we can improve our Fall Classic positioning. If you have been following along, these prices will come down once the playoffs begin with the Toronto Blue Jays vs Texas Rangers ALDS battle at 3:37 PM ET on October 8, 2015, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Los Angeles Dodgers: World Series prediction and odds update

Although it took Clayton Kershaw a while to get going, Los Angeles was 2-4 during his first six starts, the Dodgers season went pretty much as we expected it would. Los Angeles was in first place in the National League West at the end of every month and their 92-70 overall record buried the San Francisco Giants eight games behind at the end of the season. Counting the 300 units we lost on the Nationals meltdown, if the Dodgers win the World Series, we will earn 2100 units on our preseason futures wager. We still see Zack Greinke, Kershaw and the Boys in Dodger Blue having a soild postseason but – the MLB best St. Louis Cardinals (100-62) do concern us some.

Reminiscent of the Big Red Machine – The Big Blue Machine will be tough to stop

Following the trade deadline acquisitions of David Price, Troy Tulowiski and Ben Revere, Toronto put on a show. Sitting with a 53-51 record on July 21, the Blue Jays were third in the AL East and six games behind the New York Yankees. A 21-6 romp through August propelled the Blue Jays into first overall and they never looked back as the Bronx Bombers finished second – six games out of first. Admittedly a little slow with our reaction, we were able to get the Blue Jays to win the World Series with a +400 money line price back in August. If Canada’s team wins their first World Series since 1993 our futures wager will earn a 2000 unit return. We feel slightly more confident about the Jays than we do about the Dodgers but – we are going to back up this bet as well.

MLB World Series Futures Wagering Update: Both St. Louis (+525) and Kansas City (+550) still have fairly decent World Series numbers. Being as such, we are going to back the Cardinals and Royals as our third and fourth horses in the MLB World Series race with a 300 unit wager on their futures odds posted at the Bet365 sportbook. Stick with us as we work our way towards a possible guaranteed payday once the Fall Classic final two teams are determined. We love Rocktober!
