Liverpool vs Manchester City Odds, Prediction and Live Score
The schedule makers picked a dandy for the final Premier League game of 2016. One point apart from each other in the standings Liverpool host Manchester City at Anfield has become an intimidating place for visiting teams. Both teams will be looking to capture the victory and stay in the title race.

Saturday’s match between Liverpool and Manchester City can be viewed as a 6 pointer. Winning this game would be like winning two games as not only do you collect 3 points yourself but take 3 points away from a direct rival. And if Chelsea can beat Stoke, as one would expect, on Saturday morning this game will be worth so much more.

It would mean Liverpool and Man City would be 9 and 10 points off 1st place and with one of them dropping points in this game for sure it would be a huge mountain to climb.

The big team news is that Sergio Aguero will return for Man City and Philippe Coutinho remains sidelined for Liverpool. If you’ve been listening to these managers talk of the past few weeks, it sounds as if Pep Guardiola has already conceded the Premier League title to Chelsea. This could just be gamesmanship or it could him cushioning his bed for the fall.

Jurgen Klopp, on the other hand, is what we know him to be. Treating this like a marathon and willing to fight until the bitter end.

Liverpool v City on WH

Having already defeated Chelsea and Arsenal this season, Liverpool will want to claim another top 4 scalp, and Anfield has become the fortress for the Reds to claim such a scalp.

In the early stages of the Jurgen Klopp era at Liverpool, it was best to fade them at home and bet them on the road. But times have changed. Anfield’s renovation has reinvigorated the fan base and made the stadium loud and imposing once again.

Liverpool are undefeated at home this season with a +18 goal differential. Man City have an impressive road record as well winning 7 of 9 games but their two losses were against Tottenham and Leicester. One team pressed high and the other counter-attacked with lightning speed.

Liverpool do both of these. In fact, they are arguably more dangerous when they don’t have the ball. And Pep always wants possession. Rather than drill his team to defend responsibly he believes in retaining enough possession to where defensive duties are minimized over a 90-minute game. It worked in Spain and Germany because he had the likes of Gerard Pique, Mascherano and Philip Lahm who can all organize a back line. He has no such luxury now.

In fact this game will include no great defensive players. What more can we do with this?

Liverpool Man City Total odds on B365

If you like Liverpool to win at home but want to take the tie out of play -163 for a Draw No Bet can be a solid play. The totals, however, should definitely get some consideration. Between Man City away and Liverpool at home this season the Over 2.5 is 14-3.

Both teams to score at -188 is pricy but it is also underlay in my opinion, because if these two teams played twice I don’t believe a clean sheet would be kept in either game.

NFL Monday Night Predictions Week 3
The Dallas Cowboys (1-1) and the Arizona Cardinals (1-1) risk slipping against divisional rivals if they continue their lackluster start to the season. Week three NFL Monday night football starts on September 25th, with a 8:30 PM EST kickoff at the University of Phoenix Stadium. These two teams haven’t met since 2014, when Arizona beat the Cowboys 28-17. Dallas has turned over much of their roster since then, presenting a greater threat to the Cardinals.
