Toronto vs Minnesota: Blue Jays Look To Regain Roll Versus Twins
Major League Baseball has our attention today as we preview and predict the Toronto vs Minnesota American League contest. The Blue Jays are one of the hottest teams in the Majors while the Twins are struggling to find some consistency. First pitch is slated for 7:07 PM ET on Tuesday, June 10, from the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Toronto Blue Jays: Comfortable American League East leaders
Thanks to a white hot recent run, the Blue Jays have won 15 of their last 19 games, Toronto has opened up a 5.5 game lead on the Baltimore Orioles in the American League East division. The Jays lead the Majors with 91 home runs and their 319 runs scored is second only to the 328 plated by the Oakland Athletics. J.A. Happ (5-2 ERA 4.12) gets the call for Toronto who rallied for a a run in the ninth to bet the twins 5-4 in the series opener last night.
Minnesota Twins: Stringing together wins has been a big problem
While the Blue Jays have enjoyed recent stretches where they won nine and six straight games, the Twins longest winning streak of the season sits at just three – they have accomplished that twice. Things have certainly not gone well recently as Minnesota has dropped 12 of their last 17 contests. Kevin Correia (2-7 ERA 6.11) who gives up a lot of runs, starts for the Twins. Correia is in tough here as the Blue Jays starting lineup can really bash the ball.
MLB Prediction: Soar with the Blue Jays and 500 unit wager on the SportsInteraction money line.
