Texans at Broncos NFL Sunday Wagering Tips
Week three of the NFL season features an interesting game between the Houston Texans and the Denver Broncos Sunday, September 23, 2012. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 PM ET from Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. Houston is looking for its third straight win to begin the season while Manning and the Broncos hope to forget about last week’s loss.
Texans Defense Looks to Exploit Their Hosts
Houston has begun the season with a 2-0 record and sits atop the AFC South. The Texans defense will be tested for the first time this season when they travel to face Denver. The secondary was a major question mark coming into the season for Houston but the team believes that it is much improved. Manning has struggled throwing the deep ball this season so the Texans secondary will be tested throughout the game.
Front Defense for Broncos Must Control Line of Scrimmage
Denver’s front defense, one of the best in the league, will have their hands full with Texans running back Arian Foster this afternoon. If the defense cannot get off the field then Manning and company will not have many opportunities to put up points in the hopes for a win. Almost everyone will have their eyes on Manning’s arm and how his throws look coming out of his hand today as his arm strength is still in question, especially after Monday night’s game, a 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Sunday’s contest featuring the Texans and the Broncos is a very interesting matchup between two very stout defensive teams. Bet365.com has the Houston Texans as -1.5 favorites this afternoon over the host Denver Broncos. Place your bets early for the Texans to knock off Denver to start the season 3-0.
