NFC East action features the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM ET from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Already with a win over the Giants this year, we will back the Eagles.
Philadelphia Eagles: Headed for a .500 record
Despite falling to the Cowboys on Sunday to drop to 3-4 on the season, the Eagles defense played very well and has improved with each game played. The offense on the other hand did not perform well at all. Nick Foles missed multiple open receivers, LeSean McCoy did not produce, and DeSean Jackson also struggled.
New York Giants: Finally a win!
New York finally secured its first win of the season on Monday night when it hosted the struggling Minnesota Vikings. The Giants ruined the debut of new Vikings quarterback Josh Freeman, who was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently. New York will return to its losing ways on Sunday with a second loss to Philly.
For Sunday afternoon’s NFL contest between East rivals the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles, we find the betting odds at Bodog.eu. With three wins on the season, and playing in front of the home fans, the Eagles are -6 (+105) favorites to knock off the Giants for a second time, so back Philly at home this weekend.
