On Sunday, February 17, 2013 at 8 PM ET, the NBA All-Star Game will be played between the Eastern Conference and Western Conference squads from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The West has won the previous two meetings in this series while the East is looking for its first win since the 2010 game. We are backing the East squad.
Eastern Conference: Trying to regain power
Eastern Conference all-stars are looking to regain the balance of power in the NBA on Sunday night when they visit the Western Conference squad in Houston. The East last won a game in this series in 2010, by a score of 141-139. The last time the game was played in Houston, in 2006, the East won.
Western Conference: Working for third straight win
Western Conference all-stars are playing for their third consecutive win in this series on Sunday night. The Western squad has also won three of the last five meetings in this series. The West will need a lot of help this year to knock off a solid Eastern squad and might run out of steam if this becomes a shootout.
Each year, the NBA’s best players converge for the mid-season All-Star game, one of the most popular in pro sports. This year will be no different as the West hosts the East in Texas on Sunday night. The East has a line of +3 (-115) on Bodog.ca. We will bet the East and the Money Line of +125 on Sunday night.
