St. Louis vs Miami: Pitchers Battle Favors Cardinals Over Marlins
Fresh off a fantastic weekend of Canadian Football League forecasting, we turn to Major League Baseball to keep our winning run rolling along. National League action between St. Louis and Miami features a pitching match-up that favors the Cardinals as their ace Adam Wainright is set to duel Marlins starter Jarred Cosart. Game time is 7:10 PM ET on August 12, 2014, from Marlins Park in Miami, Florida. We like the Cards to even this series tonight.
Cardinals: Fighting for first in the National League Central
In the thick of one of the best MLB divisional playoff races, St. Louis looks to get back on track after being dealt a 6-5 loss to the Marlins last night. Cardinals ace RHP Adam Wainright (14-6 ERA 2.28) is looking to become the Majors first 15 game winner as he takes his 9-3 road record (1.32 ERA) into South Beach. Adam has been right on the road as he’s allowed 14 runs with 74 K’s over 95.2 innings pitched away from Busch Stadium. We like the -140 ML price tonight as the Cards were -170 the last time we won with Wainrright on the bump for St. Louis.
Marlins: National League Wild Card berth still within reach for Miami
Sitting with a 44-52 record back on July 19, Miami is on a 14-8 recent run and the Marlins have moved to within 4.5 games of the final NL Wild Card spot. Miami is also six games back in the NL East divisional race as they chase Atlanta and Washington. Recently acquired from Houston, RHP Jarred Cosart (9-8 ERA 4.52) is tasked with trying to match Wainright as he gets the call for the Marlins. Cosart took a loss in his Miami debut, allowing four runs over 5.1 innings versus the Reds. Miami leads the league with 1066 strikeouts (the Astros are second with 1040) and that certainly helps us back Wainright (134 K’s) and the visiting Red Birds in this contest.
MLB Call: Soar with the Cardinals and a 500 unit money line wager the Sportsbetting.ag online sportsbook.

Handicappers who convince themselves - and anyone else who will listen - that the Kentucky Derby is just another race probably haven't cashed too many tickets on the first Saturday in May. The truth is people should bet the Derby differently because of just how unlike any other race it is.

Meeting for the third time this season, these rivals hit the gridiron at 10:00 PM ET on August 19, 2016, at BC Place in Vancouver.
