Although the Cardinals own the top perch in the NFC West, the Seahawks are circling and ready to dive-bomb the Red Birds. This playoff style contest earns the Sunday Night Football spotlight and is slated for 8:30 PM ET on December 21, 2014, at University of Phoenix Stadium, in Glendale, AZ. Back the Champs!
Seattle Seahawks: Starting to round into Super Bowl form
Winners of four straight, Seattle has hit a postseason style stride outscoring their opponents by a 180-111 margin during a 7-1 streak. While the wins have come against five teams that are not playoff bound, the Seahawks defense is back in attack mode. The Champs have registered 16 sacks during their four game winning streak including six in their 17-7 win over the 49ers last weekend. Seattle posted a 19-3 win at home allowing the the Cardinals 204 total yards back in Week 12.
Arizona Cardinals: Living on a very precariously edge with a third string quarterback
While we were wrong about the Cardinals last week in St. Louis, much of what we didn’t like about them still exists. In fact, there are more things not to like in Arizona now as third string QB Ryan Lindley takes over for Drew Stanton who suffered a knee injury versus the Rams. Though it was in Seattle, the last time Lindley faced the Seahawks was during a 58-0 blowout as he came on in relief of then starter John Skelton in Week 13 back in 2012. Cards O vs Hawks D is a mismatch tonight.
Seahawks vs Cardinals Call: Arizona is 7-0 at home but when you run out of horsepower, you lose the race. Lindley, who the Cardinals cut in the preseason and then brought back in November, has completed 93 of 181 passes with zero TD and seven INT during his brief three year career. That’s running out of horsepower. However, giving up nine points on the road against a fairly stout defense is not something we normally like to do. As such, we turn to the Bet365 Alternative Handicap 3-Way odds as we soar with the Seahawks and a 500 unit wager on the -3 (-250) price.

Handicappers who convince themselves - and anyone else who will listen - that the Kentucky Derby is just another race probably haven't cashed too many tickets on the first Saturday in May. The truth is people should bet the Derby differently because of just how unlike any other race it is.
