Championship action in the National Basketball Association resumes tonight as Miami is in San Antonio for Game Two of the NBA Finals. The Spurs are looking to take a 2-0 series advantage to South Beach as the Heat will host the next two contests. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM ET on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
San Antonio Spurs: Turn up the heat late in Game One
While much has been made about the air conditioning failure at the AT&T Center during Game One, since both teams were playing under the same conditions – we say let it go. The Spurs, trailing 86-84 in the fourth quarter, turned up the heat on the court as they went on a 25-9 run to close out the last 7:31 minutes of the game. Unlike Miami, who are basically a three-trick pony, San Antonio has a ton of depth and that showed late in Game One.
Miami Heat: Kings James and his Court will regroup for Game Two
Love them or loath them, the Heat are a resilient bunch and we fully expect a closer contest here. Miami has now lost Game One in three consecutive NBA Final series but they earned two rings and are still in contention for a third. LeBron James shouldn’t be feeling any ill affects from the heat/cramping that forced him out of the opener and the Spurs have promised to have the air conditioning cranked. Expect King James to be at his best tonight.
NBA 2014 Championship Finals Game Two Prediction: Though tempted by the Miami money line offered at the sportsbetting.ag online sportsbook – we will wager 500 units and back the Heat with the spread price.
