NHL Tuesday Online Wager Tips: Anaheim vs Colorado
Denver, Colorado is the site of NHL action on Tuesday, October 2, 2013 at 9:30 PM ET when the Colorado Avalanche host the Anaheim Ducks at the Pepsi Center. This is Patrick Roy’s first game as a head coach, so we will bet on Colorado tonight.
Colorado Avalanche: A return to glory?
Colorado missed the post-season for the third consecutive year after finishing 16-25-7 last season. Roy takes over a team with a mix of young players and veterans who need to be molded into a strong team. Former Avalanche captain Joe Sakic is now the team’s vice president of hockey operations in Colorado.
Anaheim Ducks: Rebounding from rough playoff loss
Anaheim hopes that this season will be just as strong as last year, but ends in a much better fashion. The Ducks were 30-12-6 in the regular season, but lost in seven games to the seventh-seeded Detroit Red Wings in the first round of the playoffs. Anaheim has won one playoff series since their cup year of 2007.
As the regular-season for the National Hockey League begins its schedule this week we find the betting odds for the Anaheim Ducks and Colorado Avalanche game at WilliamHill.com. For Patrick Roy’s head coaching debut we are going to back the Avalanche at home with the line of -1.5 (+250) over the Ducks.
