NFL Super Bowl 50 Championship Futures Bodog Sportsbook Updated Prices

NFL Super Bowl 50 Championship Futures Bodog Sportsbook Updated Prices
Blink and you miss it. That seems to be the scenario with the National Football League every year as the dust has settled on a 2015 regular season that had many surprises. With Wild Card Playoff action on tap this weekend, let’s take a look at the 2016 Super Bowl Champion odds posted on the Bodog NFL futures board. One of these twelve teams will reign supreme on Super Bowl Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Back the Cats!

Defending Champion Patriots represent the AFC as overall chalk

Battered and bruised, as a few teams are in the AFC, the defending Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots lead the way as slim NFL Championship chalk – over a trio of talented NFC squads. The Belichick & Brady Bunch have slipped from a +700 preseason price to a +450 ML as Wild Card Weekend approaches. Thanks in part to numerous injuries, the Pats closed on 2-4 skid and looked ordinary in doing so – especially their sieve like offensive line. Denver, with a seemingly lame duck Peyton Manning under center, are the second seed in the AFC and like the Patriots they have a bye during the first round. The Broncos price went from +1400 a year ago to +625 today. Pittsburg and their prolific offense, Kansas City who are steady on both sides of the ball, Cincinnati with QB Andy Dalton questionable, and Houston as the sixth seed, round out the AFC qualifiers.

Talented Trio of NFC squads dominate three of the four favorite positions at Bodog

Three talented NFC squads, who are just behind New England with a +475 ML price, dominate the top of the chalkboard. Still somewhat surprised by how they were handled by the Falcons during Week 16 action in Atlanta, Carolina finished the season with a 15-1 record. Stars were born, some journeymen players blossomed and veteran studs all blended together to produce a league best +192 PF/PA differential. Arizona, despite checking out early during Week 17 action, posted an impressive 13-3 record as that and the Cardinals +176 PF/PA were both second best marks overall. NFC defending Champion Seattle opened with a 4-5 record but closed the season on a 6-2 roll as their offense was white-hot down the stretch. Carolina and Arizona have byes while the Hawks head to Minnesota who are NFC fifth favorites. Green Bay and upstart Washington will battle as the fourth and sixth chalk in the NFC. We feel an NFC team will claim the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
