Game one of the NBA Finals is on the schedule for Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 9 PM ET when the Miami Heat host the San Antonio Spurs at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida. Already four for four in Finals appearances, we will back the Spurs.
San Antonio Spurs: Looking for fifth title
San Antonio has made four NBA Finals appearances, winning all four times, and are now looking for their fifth title in as many opportunities. The Spurs last title came in 2007, at the expense of LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. This rematch should be an incredible storyline from game one until a winner is crowned.
Miami Heat: Aiming for second straight title
Miami is making its third straight appearance in the NBA Finals and is looking for its second consecutive league crown. In James’ first appearance in the Finals with the Heat, Miami lost to the Dallas Mavericks. Last year, Miami knocked off the Oklahoma City Thunder. The ‘big three’ will need to be on the top of their game.
For tonight’s game one of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat, we find the line at Bodog.ca. The Spurs are underdogs on the road at +5 (-105) and a money line of +180. We are going to back the road warrior Spurs with the +180 ML to grab game one in Miami over the Heat en route to another title.
