Week seven of the NFL season concludes on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 8:30 PM ET when the New York Giants host the Minnesota Vikings at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Both teams have struggled, but we back Minnesota.
Minnesota Vikings: Searching for second win
Minnesota is just 1-4 on the season, has already had its bye week, and now faces a winless Giants team on the road. The Vikings would like for nothing more than to secure their second victory of the season and first on the road Monday night when they take on New York. Newly acquired Josh Freeman starts at quarterback.
New York Giants: Headed for 0-7 start
If things can’t get any worse for New York, think again. This game has all the makings for another loss for the G-men, who are 0-6 and 0-2 at home. Eli Manning and company have struggled immensely on offense, turning the ball over 23 times, 15 of them interceptions thrown by Manning. That matches his total from 2012.
For tonight’s Monday Night Football contest between the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants, we find the game’s betting line at Bet365.com. Despite being 3.5 point underdogs on the road tonight, we will still bet on the Vikings to grab their second win in 2013 with the +160 money line in front of a national audience.
