Chicago Blackhawks: Aiming for third Stanley Cup in six years

A rollercoaster style regular season carried over to the Blackhawks first round playoff series versus Nashville. Chicago won four games (two in OT) by a combined 15-10 count while their two loses were by a 11-4 margin. The Hawks weakness heading into Round Two appears to be goaltending as Chicago went back and fourth between Scott Darling and Corey Crawford against the Predators.

Minnesota Wild: Facing their kryptonite for a third straight playoff season

Minnesota fans must be thinking “not again” as their hockey hero’s get the Blackhawks for the third time over five playoff series. The first two series have not gone well as the Wild lost in 4-1 in the quarterfinals in 2013 and 4-2 in the semifinals in 2014. Minnesota is coming off a well-deserved 4-2 series win over St. Louis but it had a rollercoaster feel to it as well. The Wild’s four wins were by a 15-4 count and their two loses were by a 10-2 margin against the Blues.

Wild vs Blackhawks Game One Prediction: Minnesota has never won in Chicago during the playoffs as the Wild lost all six games played at the United Center during the previous two seasons. Chicago is almost unstoppable at home as the Hawks are 22-4 during their past 26 postseason contests at the Madhouse on Madison. We are cruising with Chicago in Game One with a 300 unit wager on the money line odds posted on the betting board at the William Hill online sportsbook.
