Cashing in on the Blackhawks and Kings as Road Chalk

Cashing in on the Blackhawks and Kings as Road Chalk
Bodog sportsbook clients will discover a glut of Contender versus Pretender contests on the National Hockey League betting board tonight. Though both of them are on the road, Chicago and Los Angeles certainly fit the bill when they visit Arizona and Vancouver respectively. Puck drop for both contests is slated for 10:05 PM ET on March 12, 2015. Back the Blackhawks and Kings at Bovada.

Blackhawks vs Coyotes: Chicago Duels Arizona in the Desert

Though they have been wobbling somewhat, seemingly throughout the season, Chicago is well on their way to a seventh straight playoff appearance. The Hawks are on a 4-1-1 recent run and they last played on Sunday in a 1-0 (OT) home loss to the red hot Rangers. Arizona is still in the hunt for last place overall in the NHL as they are 7-19-4 since the start of January. The Coyotes have 50 points and they “trail” the Sabres (44) and Oilers (47) in the “race” for the NHL basement.

Defending Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings visit Vancouver to clash with the Canucks

Riding a season similar to the one in Chicago,LosAngeles is ninth overall in the West and out of the playoff picture. That said, with games in hand and another 16 contests to go, the Kings are just three points behind the #6seededCanucks. LA has earned at least one point in 12 of their past 15 games. Vancouver, partly with smoke and mirrors, is having a turn around season and they have won two straight games over the Sharks (3-2) on Saturday and vs the Ducks (2-1) on Monday.

Chicago & Los Angeles Parlay Prediction: Not big fans of backing road teams or placing parlay bets, the two collide tonight. We are getting decent prices with the visiting Blackhawks and Kings and they are the better teams here. Tie Chicago and LA together with a 300 unit parlay wager using the money line odds posted on the betting board at Bodog - A Canadian Classic!
