Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos roll into Kansas City, Missouri to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 1 PM ET from Arrowhead Stadium. The Broncos are inching closer and closer to the division title and come in with a 7-3 mark while the Chiefs are trying to keep their heads above water with a 1-9 record. Denver should have no trouble Sunday, so bet the Broncos in this uneven game.
Denver Broncos: Pulling away in AFC West
Denver has had an impressive season so far, considering that it signed Manning, who missed an entire year for neck surgery. The Broncos enter this game with a 7-3 record and have won five straight games. They have opened up a three-game lead in the division as well. If you need to look for bad news, running back Willis McGahee was placed on injured reserve after he tore his MCL in his right knee.
Kansas City Chiefs: Playing for pride and a second win
At this point in the season, all Chiefs players can do is play for pride and try to secure that elusive second win. Kansas City is 1-9, 0-5 at home and 0-7 in the conference. The Chiefs have lost seven games in a row and during that stretch have averaged just 12 points scored per game. Brady Quinn will get the starting nod at quarterback on Sunday in the hopes that he can provide a spark to the lackluster offense.
There are absolutely no sure things when it comes to the NFL or to betting, but this game is as close as you can get to a sure thing on Sunday afternoon in the AFC West. It would be difficult to bet for a 1-9 team, so we are going to take the -11.5 (-110) line for the Broncos at Bodog.ca and put our money on Denver to hand Kansas City its 10th loss of the season while moving closer to a division title.
